Hi Party Friends,

It's Tuesday and it still feels like the day after and I would like to update you about the first WWW.LOUKE50.COM party ever to take place.
To begin I would like to express my profound gratitude to all the people that made it possible (you know who you are!).

This project has been created 6 months ago after long thoughts and hard labour, but the reactions I have received in such short time have given me the strength and the will to move on in this direction.
I keep on getting SMS, e-mails and messages in my guestbook that motivate me for the planning of a sequel.
So let's start from the beginning.

Café d'Anvers, a landmark in clubbing. 2 spacious rooms with an indescribably atmosphere decorated with fantasy and taste.

Party and not so party people from all over the world. NEW-YORK, MIAMI, PARIS, FRANKFURT, MUMBAI, AMSTERDAM and eventually ANTWERP. Ages ranging from 18 to 60-ish, a perfect blend because nobody felt an outcast like at most club nights where there is only 1 age bracket.

1^st level : SMOS, CICCIO, SVEN VAN HEES, ROOG, TOFKE, PRINZ, ERIC B, CICCIO
2^nd level : Dr DISCO, CDJ LOUKE, TOFKE, PRINZ

Thanks to Angel's Angels who amazed us with their flamboyant outfits, sexy moves and for spreading a great vibe all night long.
Also special thanks to MC Lex Empress who unfortunately (for technical reasons) could not fully show her talents, but next time, without a doubt, she will blow us away with her vocal skills!

With such a space like Café d'Anvers I had to find the person that could express his creativity fully and I think that he succeeded way beyond what was expected. His work would have been appreciated to full extend if he had been living/working in New-York in the late 70's.

Fireworks, Soap Bubbles , Videowalls (with exclusive pictures of the REAL Studio 54) gave it the right touch.

A blend of all the above ingredients plus the most beautifull, classy people all dressed to kill and the most important ingredient...

To be able to create such an atmosphere I had to be very strict about the dress code.
By being consequent in my decision to apply this rule to EVERYBODY (I even said that even if the KING himself would not comply to the dress code he would be denied access).
I was surprised by the creativity shown by people that did not pay too much attention to the directives given about the dresscode (website, posters, teasers, flyers, ads,etc..).
Some people understood the importance of respecting the rules in order to contribute to the success of the event and concept. That's why I 'm sorry to have had to refuse entry to over 300 people that were not dressed in BLACK or WHITE. But those that understood and went back home to change their attire came back and told me that it was worth the while and that they had the time of their life.

ANECDOTE 1: My good friend KOEN SUPER KAMPIOEN called two gorgeous girlfriends from Amsterdam (and told them to get over because the party was starting) without telling them to wear BLACK or WHITE. So after a 2 hour drive they arrived and were stopped at the door. Seeing that nothing would make change the mind of the people at the door (who were following my directions) he called me to try to convince me to close an eye.

But seeing that unfortunally nothing could convince me, he left for 15 minutes with his friends and they came back in very sexy outfits. I was flabbergasted and I asked him how the heck he did it? He simply said that being in the middle of the Red Light District he went to a window across the street and bought the outfits of the working girl. We went in and partied together till the end .
The girls told me that they had a lot of admiration and respect because I stand on my positions and no one who was present wore non compatible clothes.

Some 100 people partied on in Harwich till 11 am.

Being on the move constantly for the past 30 years I can not recall having so many beautifull people in 1 place in Antwerp (in all modesty).
So this is a new milestone in party world. The aim is to revive the party flame 4 times a year and to live up the party spirit that left us over the years.
The standards will allways be set very high because people that know me appreciate the fact that when I get in to something I go for 100% or 0%.
That's why all future activities will be prepared with the same care of class, exclusivity and creativity.
